I was there for you like a servant and a Slave,

With immediate response to signals and Wave..

I was there to shield from the cold of the Cave,

From those who planned and did hurt you, I Save.

Everytime, I gave more than my Bargain,

Running to your aid over and over Again..

Even at my own expense, I was always on the fast Lane,

Down to when I was sick and my sight was running Wane..

I gave all down to the pennies and cents in my account Balance,

But you responded and behaved more with beautiful Nonchalance.

Most time I wait and hope for my monthly Allowance,

So I can assist with your better than mine Circumstance..

Hmmmmm.......... It's sad:

These scenarios depicted above has happened to the best of Us,

We bare our heart and soul, yet we get ridden like a Horse..

We bear the burden of others at the expense of our own Loss,

Yet, rather than reciprocate, we receive something much Worse..

Sometimes, we run from pillar to post to satisfy Others,

We place those we love first, like our loving Mothers..

Keep driving ourselves to the edge deeper and Farther,

Bearing the brunt of the risks, like a responsible Father..

To make them smile, in our mind, we solve theorems and Equations,

Like word problems, bearing, angles of depressions and Elevations..

We plan our lives to suit their needs and Dreams,

Tailor our plans and affairs to match the Seams..

But at the end of it all, tell me, what is our Achievement?

You come to realize all you are to them is a soothing Entertainment..

The person(s) you've been giving all your love, sacrifice, defend and also bear their Insults,

Those you carry their issues on your head like a bag of rice, you just realize are holding you like A Pinch of Salt..

... So for those who disregard the sacrifices of others or take them for Granted, never forget that a day will come when you'll reap what you've Planted ...
