... ANGELS AND GODS ...

The gender issue has been a problem for Long,

And it has prompted a lot of things to go Wrong..

We like to follow a pattern, just to choose a Side,

And strongly don't care who we hurt or Deride..

Right from inception, one is viewed as the Best,

Most time, parents want them to be the First..

Maybe 'cause they were the one given the Order,

By their Creator, soon after He made the Other..

In many places, the male is valued than the Female,

When a girl is delivered, sometimes the woman grow Pale..

Not because she's sad with the birth of her sweet Child,

But she knows there'll be no rest, the house will turn Wild..

We tend to see one as pretty fake and sometimes Weak,

We think they don't have a voice, so they shouldn't Speak..

We seem to believe their position ought to be in the Kitchen,

House cleaning, washing dishes, cookin and frying the Chicken..

This is why many women have been fighting hard for Years,

So they can air their thoughts and mind, including silent Tears..

They are fighting for positions, reaching for the height or Peak,

To prove they aren't less, they are strong people too and not Sick..

Some have been maltreated and suffered much Shame,

'Cause they are born as a girl, a young beautiful Dame..

Some have been cheated, raped and countless times Molested,

That their head, thoughts and feelings are now truly Congested..

Most of what we do now is blame the other and point accusing Fingers,

We set up ourselves for the right and gender tussle, as the hate Lingers..

Sometimes, we totally forget that we're simply humans with flesh and Blood,

We are both created with the same purpose, we are neither Angels nor Gods..

Every child is Beautiful and Unique. Whether you are a male or female, Black or Greek..
