DUST AND SAND

... DUST AND SAND ...

We think we own it all, when we are fortunate or have some level of Power,

At our feet, under our table, we expect people old and young to Cower..

With some cash, we feel there's no one else above us or above our Head,

Born with a silver spoon, we act as we please, and expect others to play Dead..

With a little make-up here and there we think we are the most Beautiful,

With a wig, braids and attachment to our hair, we are perfectly Wonderful..

So we feel like we are not in most people's level and Class,

We think we are far more than average when we do the Maths..

We see others as nothing because they live under our roof or in our House,

Due to the land we own, we call them rodents, like rats or a Mouse..

We hype the rent year after year just to stir pain and Frustration,

Without a care in the world, despite the advancing tough Manifestations..

You call yourself a man, because you are born as a Boy or Male,

So our sense of humanity we throw away, erase or put on Sale..

We think it's that thing between our legs that makes us a real Man,

And forget the fact that, being humble is what truly defines a Human..

Since we are employers of labor, so our workers should be our Servant,

So we see them as no one, we care not about them we are not Observant..

We don't give them the expected entitlements, raise and needed Promotion,

And we see them as 'soldier go, soldier come', we present them no Protection..

We parade ourselves like we are the creator of life and everything Else,

Like the one who would not answer to anyone, so we manipulate the Press..

We forget that no one can control anything for long, it's out of our Hands,

Like most creatures, we could sleep and not wake, we are mere Dust and Sand..
