JUST A NUMBER

... JUST A NUMBER ...

Certain people judge by appearance or Look,

Think we're less cause of the steps we Took..

They see your size and feel you're too Small,

They call you short, they say you're not Tall..

Many today judge us by their first Impression,

Our manner of approach or that of Expression..

They just throw words at the person in Question,

No courtesy nor respect, none of both they Mention..

Some simply believe that marriage determines Maturity,

They feel the moment you get in, that hypes one's Quality..

Especially when they are blessed with one child or Two,

They automatically feel that they are better than You..

Yet, we still see couples who can't manage their Home,

Who can't control themselves speak more of their Zone..

They can't give advise or suggest to their hubby or them Wife,

They can't help see reasons to control certain things in Life..

Some think being more successful makes them Older,

They'll talk to you anyhow and simply raise their Shoulder..

They feel money is what determines a person's Ripeness,

Yet, some seem to have it all, but can't even buy Politeness..

It's obvious that, life is not about height, it's not about Age,

It's not how fast we grow, not how quickly we flip the Page..

True maturity takes training, learning and true Development,

It's not inherited, but a choice which has caused some Impediment..

It's such a shame and so sad this affects both sex or Gender,

But all in all, AGE doesn't define MATURITY, it's just a Number..
