' OBSESSION ...

It is said that: If you like a flower, you'll pick It.

But if you do love it, you'll definitely nurture It..

Hmm..It is true when two soul mate meet, there's always a Spark,

No force, no fuss, they have their own issues, but not much of a Mark..

But most of the time, we focus on finding the best of the right One,

And then say to ourselves: Maybe the beautiful ones are not yet Born..

We keep being on the look out for a mate that is cordial and Perfect,

The type we've always dreamed about, with no stains and Defect..

But as time passes after we've found one, we begin to seek Loopholes,

We start to monitor their movements from bus stops, pillars to Poles..

Sometimes, we do look at them, begin to second guess and ask Questions,

That has never been part of the problems before and serves no Functions..

We go about trying to read their every move like going through a Book,

Every corner, nooks and crannies of the compound we sweep and Look..

Searching for answer where there are no reasons for quizzes or Puzzles,

Then we go nosing around like a monitoring spirit, flexing our Muscles..

Our partner or mate would not be able to live their lives in Freedom,

All we want for them is to stay put on a spot looking in real Boredom..

Some would even render them lazy and prevent them from a secular Job,

While all the certificates they've gathered for years, they simply Snub..

The height of it is creeping around to know who they talk to, see and Meet,

We tap phones, read messages and listen to their conversations likes it's a Beat..

We live our own lives freely, but wear our partner imaginary cuffs and Shackles,

We lock them up and condition their mind to live in a routine, going around in Circles..

But if we truly love someone, we will try our best to always apply the Golden Rule,

From their dreams and aspirations, we won't hold them back, misdirect nor Pull..

We'll always find avenues to accept and care for them just as we do cherish priceless Possessions,

And we'd give them the freedom they deserve, that means Trust and Love not with Obsessions..
