Sometimes don't you just get tired of the Pain?

To let go of the thoughts that drive you Insane.

Don't you just want to sit back, take a time Off?

To allow it pan, to forget all the negative Stuff..

We shout about making a new year Resolution,

We start fine and stop when there's no Solution..

We think our Father in heaven counts the Years,

We cause ourselves worries, agonies and Fears..

Most are thinking of the coming year Already,

How to be successful, how to make life Steady..

They are jamming their head with things yet to Come,

Causing themselves heartache before the real Storm..

Why do we trouble ourselves about Tomorrow?

We've not lived today, for the next we want to Borrow..

We always try to place the carriage before the Horse,

We seem to forget it's not in our power to direct our Course..

Many people are the creator of their Sickness,

They are not patient, don't mind their Business..

They go seek the future to see how it Matches,

They count their chicks before the eggs Hatches..

We envy others without knowing their real Story,

We tell tales without truly seeing their Journey..

We want to acquire this and that without pausing to Think,

What if, what will happen to all these when I'm done or Sink?

Why we dey carry another matter for our Head?

We dey find butter up and down when we never see Bread..

We dey build house for our heart, and when we never get Land,

We dey calculate millions for mind when we no get kobo for Hand..

The world will always make you feel like you have Nothing,

They'll certainly make it seem like you can posses Everything..

They can even make you believe that you're truly Bullet Proof,

But honestly my dear, just take it easy, you have Nothing to Prove..
