The human race have built on one Habit,

A custom that has maimed many bit by Bit. Something that can simply be kept or Avoided,

We know how it is in our mind, yet we Conceded.

We lift the spirit of people, we give Hope,

The feeling to hang on, the reasons to Cope.

We tell ourselves 'as long as it keeps them Wanting',

But never know how depressing it feels and Daunting.

We simply want to play god with the mind of Others,

Holding them at ransom, pushing them even Further. Without a thought of how they would feel after it All, When they discover the truth, as they hit a brick Wall.

We tell people about the services we can't Deliver, Give them the idea of faith, when we ain't a Believer. We plan it all in the dark, but make them see the Light, Keep them on their toes, we keep their attention Bright.

We announce to the world, a reward that's not There, So that they'll stick very much around, not go Anywhere.

We think it's a smart move to keep the audience Together,

But unknowing to us, our reputation is grad killed Forever.

Because it may all work out to keep people glued at First,

It may keep them yearning for a while, but at a huge Cost.

But eventually, the products and services will lose Value,

The once supposed 'white lie' will grow into a Navy Blue.

Yes, at first it's a venture for you, a true means to an End,

But as time passes, you'll raise more enemies than Friends.

Your business, who you are and represent will lose its Face,

Somehow, it'll all become a mere mirage, a life of Zero Trace.

So, why not stop the pretence, cooking up stuff to gain attention, as you Sail, because there's only hurt in the end when you keep living a life of Promise and Fail...
