It is said that: The borrower is a slave to the Lender,

Just as pepper and fruits are at the mercy of a Blender..

The world out there is filled with situations that tests our Stand,

Sometimes, when you explain to someone, they hardly Understand..

We find ourselves doing things we aren't used to or do not Fancy,

But when times becomes tough, we seek ways to make them Handy..

We push our body to the limit and sometimes to the near Beyond,

At times get involved in peculiar things that could break our Bound..

Well, it's fine and understandable if we do them for the right Reasons,

Due to the unexpected moments that appear, the cold and wet Seasons..

At least, when people hear our ordeal, they could give us some Respect,

Not to wonder why we stoop so low, then begin to focus on our Defect..

But, have you seen the rise, rate at which people speak untruth and Beg?

The manner they falsify and tell tales about the pain in their hand or Leg..

Some would use their children as excuses to solicit funds and rip off Many,

They create a world of virtual-reality to make ends meet and Money..

The other part is how people change their looks and voice to borrow Cash,

They'll promise heaven and earth to return in January, if not, in March..

When the time arrives, they'll lie about their status or sometimes Hide,

The most painful part is the confidence they have to say: Somebody Died!!

They will carry a bag of imaginary falsehood on their heads and wide Backs,

Or they may present distorted pictures of issues long ago, show cuts or Marks..

Some may lure with their eyes or create sing-songs that'll make one feel like the Offender,

Still, the truth is, most of these people aren't all they seem to be, but real human Scavengers..
