... THE BRAVE WE GAVE ...

How do you feel when you are heading Home,

But deep within it seems like it's not your Own?

How do you feel when you wake in the Morning,

And your head and heart feels like it's Burning?

How do you feel when a chunk of you is Missing?

You simply know deep within that you're Wasting?

How do you feel when at night the last thing you see is Blackness?

And when you wake, the is day bright, but your heart is in Darkness?

How do you feel when tears has become your only Friend?

When constantly what you think is how your life should End?

How do you feel when you know you can't change your Situation?

You can't create a mental image to explain, not even a Demonstration?

Most times we'd love to be part of someone's future, but end in their Past,

And other times, we desire to be their first, yet end up as their Last..

Sometimes we wish to be a person's hero and Messiah,

But then we realize our presence, they do not Desire..

Can you imagine how so difficult that can Be?

They are important to us, but we aren't their cup of Tea..

You think of them every time, because they are your number One,

But to them, you seem like a bad memory that is far Gone..

The world is cold already, so don't punish a person with what they've Done,

Don't push them away nor see them for the things that are Gone..

Judge a human not by the mistakes you think or know they have Made,

Never measure a person's action by what your own beliefs Forbade..

Sometimes, these scenarios above prompts me to envy those in the Grave,

They rest from worries and pain, but to choose to join them nobody is Brave..

But truth is, people die not because they are too sick or couldn't rise from their Bed,

It's because, at times we cut and bury their hopes with what we say before they are truly Dead..

... JUST THINK ABOUT IT ...
