...THE VALUE OF GROWING...

When we were a babe, we used to suckle on our mother's Gland,

To help us to be strong, fit and the taste, truly it was so Grand!

We shat in our pants because we knew little, no Difference,

Just to eat, play, cry and sleep, all took special Preference..

As we grew older, our appetite for cereals and milk started to Wane,

We became more exposed and our parents began to threathen us with Cane..

Because they knew we could tell the difference between bad and Good,

Just as we've began to appreciate and relish the taste of real solid Food..

Once upon a time, we always believed everything we see and Hear,

Even when we were told ghost stories in the dark we began to Fear..

But as we grew older, we started to learn values and acquire good Qualities,

We also learnt that everything we do must have a limit and not in Extremities..

But what if it happens that we developed a character that is repulsive to People?

An attitude they hate so much that makes it so difficult for them to mix or Mingle?

And when we hear about it or they tell it to our physical person or Face?

Do we ignore their complains or just see it as hate towards our success or Race?

The truth is, growing is not just a rise in Height,

It's not something we explain in black and White..

It is not just a growth from infancy to Adulthood,

Nor is it a change from youthfulness to Manhood..

Growing up includes our values, our sense of reasoning and Actions,

It involves learning how to apply simple formulas in life and our Reactions..

It's true some persons might exaggerate how our attitude or actions affects Them,

Still, we all need to continually build and work on our weaknesses so as to avoid Problems..
