... TRUTH IN THE LIES ...

There's an adage that says: "What a person does not eat, shouldn't be placed close to the nose".

This proverb sounds pretty straight and Simple,

Yet deep enough to resonate some level of Ripple.

Nowadays, we choose to ignore the wisdom of Old,

Hold on to the hot trend, we say their time is Cold.

We decide to create a new way to live, we call it Smart,

Like it is a skill set, some talent of singing, geek or Art.

Deep within, we know it does not sit well with our Soul,

Yet, we ignore the signs, focus on the short term Goal.

Some men approaches ladies with the intent to Hurt,

They have no thought of loving nor taking her to Court.

They just want to while away time, some kinda Conquest,

Something they can brag with friends, to win a Contest.

Some of them left a spouse or partner back in their Place,

A supportive one, woman of structure, beauty and Grace..

They treat her unfairly due to her undying love, loyalty and Innocence,

But if a man treats their sister or daughter the same way, they call it Nonsense..

Another scenario: A lady knows she's not into a certain man and his Plans,

First, with the marriage intent, who tries to please her as much as he Can.

The second, who she could see through his antics that he's a Casanova,

His true intentions are obvious, that this type, just want to run her Over.

Yet, she chooses to do something rather than avoid Him,

Create a plan, some kind of format and let it play like Film

Continues to take his money and the endless luxuries that come with It,

She calls it smart, he is gullible, she's a Queen, so she rips him off bit by Bit.

Hmmmm... It's so sad that people know the 'truth in the lies', yet give reasons for their actions..

To the boys, girls, men and women of the 21st Century,

Whether your sole excuse is smart, influence, or Penury.

There are no justifications for some of the things we Do,

If or when the choices we make, points or comes back to haunt or hurt You..

... So don't bother to take something from a person when you know you're not interested nor committed. It'll only make you deeply guilty no matter what you call it or how you view the process. Because right from the start, you know "the truth in the lies" ...
